Krzywy Las

The Crooked Forest is an extraordinary natural phenomenon that delights and intrigues visitors. About 400 pine trees with characteristically curved trunks create a magical landscape, as if taken out of a fairy tale.

The trees, planted around 1930, bend just above the ground in a northerly direction, only to grow upright again a few meters later. Although theories speak of intentional human interference, the exact cause of the deformation remains a mystery.
