Description
The Florianek dwarf is one of Wrocław's charming dwarves, a symbol of the city and its creative spirit.
This little figure has its roots in the Orange Alternative movement of the 1980s, which used dwarves as a form of protest against communism.
Today, the search for dwarves has become a popular form of sightseeing in the city - tourists and locals go on a 'dwarf hunt', discovering charming corners of Wroclaw in the process. Florianek is just one of more than 800 dwarves scattered around the city, each with its own history and character.
