The Kletno Uranium Mine - Underground Tourist and Educational Route is a fascinating journey into Cold War history and geology.

During the 45-minute tour, you will discover the secrets of uranium mining from 1948-1953, when 20 tons of this valuable resource for the Soviet atomic bomb were extracted here.

Marvel at the colorful clusters of minerals - fluorite, amethyst, milky quartz or malachite form real underground works of art here. The temperature in the tunnels is about 7°C, so it is worth taking warmer clothes.

There is a special 'Young Explorer' game for children, and those who enjoy a stronger experience can enjoy night tours.
