Description

Aquarium Medellin is South America's largest freshwater aquarium, part of the interactive science museum Parque Explora. Over 4,000 aquatic creatures inhabit 25 tanks on three levels, with a central aquarium depicting a flooded Amazon rainforest – over 320,000 liters of water with trees and 150 species of Colombian fish.

The main attractions are glass tunnels that allow you to immerse yourself in the underwater world, a vivarium with poisonous frogs and tarantulas, and a dinosaur exhibition. The whole experience is complemented by over 300 interactive scientific experiences and a 3D planetarium.
