Description
The Wejherowska Calvary is a unique work of Baroque art in Pomerania. Established in the 17th century by Jakub Wejher, it includes 26 chapels spread over wooded hills, replicating the Stations of the Cross in Jerusalem.
Each chapel contains a pinch of earth brought from Jerusalem, which adds spiritual significance to the site.
On Good Friday, a spectacular re-enactment of the Passion Play is held here, attracting thousands of pilgrims and tourists. The picturesque location and rich history make this place fascinating for lovers of architecture, history and culture.
