Description
The Windmill 'Dutchman' of Pacanów is a fascinating technical monument built between 1913 and 1919 by Michal Zasucha. This Dutch-type wooden windmill operated continuously until the mid-1950s, even surviving the turmoil of World War II.
It has survived in excellent condition with its original wooden structure and shingle roofing, making it a rare example of a functioning windmill from the early 20th century.
This is a unique opportunity to see a piece of Polish agricultural history and learn about ancient grain processing technologies. The structure is currently located in the Ethnographic Park in Tokarnia.
