Description
The ruins of the 1865 Slavikov Palace are a fascinating monument of neoclassical architecture with eclectic elements.
Built by Baron Ernest von Eikstedt, the palace has survived a turbulent history, including partial destruction during World War II and subsequent neglect during the communist era.
Today, despite its state of disrepair, the site impresses with its history and unique architecture. The surrounding remains of a neo-Gothic chapel and a family cemetery complete this unique complex, which is part of the Trail of Castles and Palaces of the Racibórz Region.
