Description
The palace in Gultovy is a unique architectural monument from 1779-1786, built for Ignacy Bniński of the Łodzia coat of arms.
It combines elements of Baroque and Classicism, and its facade is decorated with stucco, cornice and regular windows in profiled bands. The interior impresses with original decorations from around 1800, including frescoes by Antoni Smuglewicz in the grand dining room.
A landscaped park with formal design elements, a pond and an old-growth forest surrounding the palace create a picturesque setting ideal for strolling and contemplating the history of the Polish nobility.
