Description
Drogo Castle - National Trust is the last castle built in England, built between 1911 and 1930 by the famous architect Sir Edwin Lutyens.
This unique building combines medieval and Tudor elements with modern architectural features. A granite facade with distinctive windows conceals elegant interiors with chambers decorated with tapestries.
The castle's gardens, the highest in the National Trust's care, delight with circular lawns, formal terraces and a garden of rhododendrons. The grounds offer breathtaking views of Teign Gorge and Dartmoor National Park.
