Description
The Gubernatorial Government Palace is an impressive neo-classical monument in the heart of Lublin, designed by Julian Ankiewicz. The building is connected by a gallery with the Radziwill Palace, creating a unique architectural complex.
Erected in the second half of the 19th century, it served as the seat of gubernatorial authorities, and after World War I it housed various administrative offices. It now belongs to Maria Curie-Sklodowska University and is used by the Department of Psychology and Alliance Française.
It is an excellent spot when visiting historic Lublin, especially in conjunction with the nearby Old Town and Lublin Castle.
