Description
The Leon Breslauer Tenement House is a true pearl of Warsaw Art Nouveau, stunning in its rich ornamentation and unique style. The three-story building from 1904 catches the eye with its facade decorated with floral motifs, a frieze with chestnut leaves and fruits, and winged female heads.
A unique feature is the gnome-shaped double doors with shields bearing the date '1898'. Despite wartime destruction and subsequent nationalization, the townhouse retained its unique character, becoming an official monument in 1990.
It is an excellent destination for lovers of Warsaw's architecture and history.
