Description
The Hoser Tenement is a gem of Warsaw's Art Nouveau architecture, built in 1904-1905 on the site of the Hoser Brothers Horticultural Plant.
This unique building impresses with its Neo-Baroque facade, balconies supported by Corinthian columns and a dome crowning the roof. The decoration refers to floral motifs - the metal balustrades are decorated with flowers, and the stained glass window depicts sunflowers, which pays homage to the Hoser family's gardening tradition.
Over the years, the tenement has served various functions - from being the headquarters of the Hoser company and a bank, to a seed warehouse, and is now a cultural and educational center.
