Aristotelous Square

Aristotelous Square is the heart of Thessaloniki, designed by French architect Ernest Hébrard in 1918 after a major fire destroyed the city center.

The square combines classical and Byzantine architecture to create a unique gathering place for tourists and locals alike. Surrounded by impressive buildings, including the Olympion Theater and the Electra Palace Hotel, it offers magnificent views of the Thermae Bay.

It is also the cultural center of the city, hosting numerous events, concerts and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. A walk around the square is a great opportunity to observe city life and enjoy the atmosphere in one of the many cafes.
