Description

The stone bridge and waterfall of Palaiokarya is a 16th-century, single-arch bridge measuring 26-35 meters in length, stretching over the Palaiokaritis River in a dramatic gorge. Its biggest attraction is the 12-meter waterfall cascading just behind the bridge, forming a natural pool with ice-cold water—the perfect place to cool off on summer days.

Surrounded by steep limestone rocks and lush vegetation, it combines historical architecture with wild nature. Once connecting Thessaly with Epirus, today it delights photographers and seekers of Greece's hidden gems.
