Description
Lejowa Valley is the largest alpine valley in the Polish Tatra Mountains, offering a peaceful and scenic route for mountain hikers.
The 3.5 km long yellow trail leads along the Lejowy Stream through a mixed spruce and beech forest. The route is easy, almost flat and takes about an hour.
The valley delights with cultural sheep grazing and the history of the old mines dating back to the 19th century. With less popularity than neighboring valleys, it guarantees silence and contact with nature without crowds of tourists.
