Jurgen Hesselink3 months agoChianti is a great spot in the center of Warsaw. Delicious food made with fresh ingredients, friendly and professional staff, and a well-chosen selection of wines by the glass. The coffee is surprisingly good – a perfect end to a lovely evening. Highly recommended!
Ol Ti2 months agoThis cozy restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and fast, attentive service — it immediately makes you feel welcome.
During our first visit, we ordered a variety of dishes: vitello tonnato, tagliatelle, lasagna, risotto, scaloppina, and a Fiorentina steak, which the chef personally carved at the table. Every dish was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and made with care. As is often the case in the area, parking was a bit of a challenge, but that’s something beyond the restaurant’s control.
We were so pleased that we decided to return a year later — unfortunately, this time, the experience was more mixed.
We ordered vitello tonnato, shrimp, Fiorentina steak (medium), Milanese cutlet, ravioli, and carbonara. We also tried two cocktails — Aperol Spritz and Campari Orange — both were okay, not exceptional, but refreshing.
The shrimp were very tasty, fresh and well-prepared. The Fiorentina steak was also delicious and grilled to perfection, though this time it arrived already sliced, which some diners may prefer whole for presentation. The Milanese cutlet was also crispy and flavorful, a great choice.
However, there were a few disappointments. The vitello tonnato, which had been so good during our first visit, was a letdown this time — the meat seemed dry, and the dish lacked the delicate texture and balance we expected.
The carbonara was particularly problematic. It had a very bitter cheese that overpowered the dish, and the overall appearance suggested it had been sitting for a while before being served.
Additionally, the wait time for the food was unusually long, and while the staff remained polite, the delays impacted the overall dining experience.
In summary, this restaurant has a lot of potential and has proven in the past to offer excellent food and service, but during our second visit, inconsistencies in quality and wait time were noticeable.
We hope this was just an off day, because the setting, menu variety, and warm ambiance make it a place worth giving another chance — and we would still recommend it with cautious optimism.

I liked wines recommended by the waiter.
Tiramisu was too creamy, but that’s only to my taste.
