Brama Krakowska

The Cracow Gate is an impressive rock formation in Ojcow National Park, closing the outlet of the Cracow Gorge into the Prądnik Valley.

This majestic Jurassic limestone structure, reaching 15-20 meters in height, was formed as a result of erosion processes. The left column of the gate is higher, and the whole is overgrown by a xerothermic meadow with characteristic lichens that give the rocks a black, white or grayish hue.

Nearby are a picnic clearing, the Cow Cave and the Spring of Love - ideal places to rest while hiking the red or blue hiking trail.
