Lamai Beach

Lamai Beach is a 4-kilometer long beach with fine silver sand and turquoise water on Koh Samui Island.

Unlike the popular Chaweng Beach, Lamai offers a more authentic Thai experience. The area is bustling with rustic beach bars, restaurants and massage parlors.

Worth seeing are the Hin Ta and Hin Yai (Grandfather and Grandmother) rock formations, as well as the Overlap Stone offering a spectacular view of the coast. In the evening, the beach transforms into a lively village with live music and a Sunday night market.
