BREEF Coral Reef Sculpture Garden & Nursery- Ocean Atlas

BREEF Coral Reef Sculpture Garden & Nursery- Ocean Atlas is a unique underwater sculpture garden off the coast of Nassau in the Bahamas, where art meets environmental conservation.

The centerpiece is the monumental Ocean Atlas by Jason deCaires Taylor - a colossal sculpture weighing over 60 tons, rising 5 meters above the seabed. Next to it are sculptures of mermaids and other works made of materials that promote coral growth.

This place serves a dual function: it is a living art gallery and at the same time acts as an artificial reef supporting the regeneration of the marine ecosystem with over 225 corals.
