Description
Redcliffe Jetty is a historic landmark with over 140 years of history. The current jetty, built in 1999, is the third structure at the site, preserving elements of the heritage of previous structures - historic lighthouses, benches and drinking fountains.
The concrete deck of the pier is decorated with a railroad track motif, adding to its historical and aesthetic charm. It's an ideal place to stroll, fish or simply enjoy the picturesque views of Moreton Bay.
As an important community center, the pier has been a key transportation link since the late 19th century, providing access to the peninsula for vacationers and locals.
