Ulica Piotrkowska

Piotrkowska Street is one of the longest pedestrian streets in Europe, stretching for almost 5 kilometers through the heart of Łódź. Walking along this iconic thoroughfare, you will discover an eclectic mix of architectural styles—from Neo-Renaissance to Art Nouveau, with tenement houses decorated with dragons, dolphins, and demons. The Avenue of Stars celebrates Polish filmmakers, and the giant mural 'Łódź Wygrywa' (Łódź Wins) tells the story of the city. The Artur Rubinstein monument, the Three Bears sculptures, and thousands of residents' names engraved in the pavement create a living open-air museum.
