Pustynia Siedlecka

The Siedlce Desert is a unique tourist attraction in Poland, offering extraordinary landscapes of dunes reaching up to 30 meters high.

Formed by the extraction of sand from the Jurassic seabed, it covers about 30 hectares, 25 of which are sandy.

The site is shrouded in local legend about a clever sorcerer who, escaping from the devil through the gates of hell, left behind scorched earth.

The Siedlce Desert is a paradise for lovers of motorsports and extreme sports. Every year a Desert Picnic is held here, during which locals dress up as Bedouins. On hot days you can even see mirages here!
