Description
The oak 'Bartek' is a majestic natural monument about 600 years old, which according to legend was planted by King Wladyslaw Jagiello to commemorate the victorious Battle of Grunwald and the conversion of Lithuania.
With a circumference of 770 centimeters and a height of 28.5 meters, this unique tree survived a fire in 1906 and a lightning strike in 1991, making it a living witness to history.
For nature and history lovers, this is a great opportunity to admire the power of nature and immerse yourself in fascinating stories from Poland's past.
