Description
The Red Bridge over the Grabowa River is a unique tourist attraction in the Polanow area. This massive steel viaduct, built in 1916, is a remnant of the pre-war railroad line from Grzmiąca to Korzybie.
The impressive 120-meter structure bears traces of a failed blow-up attempt, which adds to its historic character. Today, a footpath runs under the bridge, which is part of a popular bicycle route.
It's an ideal place for lovers of history, photography and active recreation in nature. The surrounding forests and the picturesque Grabowa River create a unique setting for this fascinating technical monument.
