Description
Arlington Reservoir is a scenic 245-acre nature preserve recognized as a Local Nature Reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest.
It's a bird lover's paradise - more than 170 species can be seen here, including kingfishers, woodpeckers and ospreys. During excavations here, the 250,000-year-old remains of a mammoth and woolly rhinoceros were discovered!
The well-maintained 3km path around the reservoir is ideal for family walks, and anglers will appreciate some of the best trout fishing in southeast England.
