avatarAndras L2 months agoIt was a great choice for our 8- and 10-year-old girls. It wasn’t crowded at all, even though we visited during the Easter school holiday week in April. The water was a bit colder than we expected, but the sunshine helped a lot. The slides were really good, and we really liked the photo system — professional photographers take pictures of you throughout the park, and you can later view or buy them, including a nice group/family photo. The dolphin show was actually better than the one at Loro Park. It was longer, and they also explained everything in English. Some kids from the audience could even join the show in a very safe and fun way.
avatarMelisa Osborne Ghituna month agoGreat for families with a mixed age children. We were able to break up into groups to do different levels of activities and also go on the lazy river together. The dolphin show was nice, but the dolphin museum was closed. The park seemed almost empty (a Monday, low season, threat of rain—no rain), so we never waited in line for more than a minute. Everyone stayed active all day. Lunch was expensive—as expected—but we brought snacks and water. The water was salty and we didn’t expect it. We got used to it and enjoyed the day. There was a good deal for digital photos— these were photos we could not have taken ourselves.
avatarRoy Schijvens2 months agoWe visited Aqualand Tenerife on a Sunday in April, and to our surprise, it was not crowded at all. The park was mainly filled with families and young children, which made the atmosphere super relaxed and pleasant. If you're looking for a calm day out at a water park in Costa Adeje, this is a solid choice. The park has some great slides for adults too. Even though we didn’t go on them this time, they looked fun and had no waiting lines. I’m already planning to return with friends and their kids so we can check out more of the attractions while the little ones play. What stood out to me was how clean and well-maintained the park was. Also, unlike other water parks in Tenerife, Aqualand didn’t feel overly strict or supervised. It gave off a more laid-back vibe, which I personally appreciated. You’re not constantly hearing lifeguard whistles or feeling watched. We had some food at the park—pizza, fries, chicken strips, and drinks. The food was decent, and portions were fair. Prices were on the higher side, but that’s pretty standard for tourist attractions in the area. A tip for families: There are photographers walking around the park taking candid photos. At first, I found it a bit annoying, but later I noticed a QR code near the sunbeds. After scanning it, you can use facial recognition to find all your pictures from the day. The system actually worked well, and we got some great shots of our son. Pricing was 40€ for all pictures of the family, 30€ for one person, 25€ for three photos, and 10€ for a single one. It was a nice surprise, and I’d recommend stopping a photographer if you want quality memories from the visit. All in all, my son didn’t want to leave. The day was a success, and I would rate Aqualand Tenerife 4.6 out of 5 stars. If you're visiting Costa Adeje with kids and want a more chilled water park experience surrounded by other families, it’s definitely worth it.
