Travelling back in time at the Bałtów Tourist Complex

The Baltow Tourist Complex is a true pearl of the Świętokrzyskie region that has been attracting families from all over Poland for years. Its origins date back to 2004, when dinosaur footprints were discovered in the area, which inspired local activists to create Poland's first JuraPark. Today, the complex is much more than just a dinosaur park - it is a true kingdom of adventure and education.

The heart of the complex is the famous JuraPark, where more than 100 life-size dinosaur models can be admired on a vast area among natural vegetation. These models were created in cooperation with paleontologists, which guarantees their scientific credibility. Walking along the park's paths, one can take a fascinating journey through the geological eras, from the Cambrian to the Quaternary. Also unique is the Jurassic Museum, where real fossils and remains of prehistoric animals are on display.

The Baltow Complex, however, is much more of an attraction. The Prehistoric Oceanarium allows you to plunge into the depths of ancient seas and get to know their mysterious inhabitants thanks to 3D technology. Supporters of active recreation will appreciate the Amusement Park with roller coasters, carousels and other devices providing a dose of adrenaline. For animal lovers there is the Bałtów Animal Sanctuary - a safari park, where from the deck of special vehicles one can observe ungulates living in the wild, including bison, deer and mouflons.

It is worth mentioning a local legend associated with Bałtow. According to legends, a dragon once lived in the surrounding forests and terrorized the residents. One day a brave young man tricked the beast by giving it a poisoned sheep. Today, a sculpture of this mythical creature can be seen in the park, which adds an extra magical dimension to the place.

The Bałtów Tourist Complex stands out from other amusement parks for its complexity and educational nature. It is a place where fun goes hand in hand with science, and each attraction hides a cognitive value. Pricing-wise, the complex is in the middle category, offering family tickets and combination packages, making it affordable for most visitors. During the summer season, the park is bustling with additional themed events, shows and paleontological workshops.

The world in miniature - the Miniature Park in Bałtów and Sabat Krajno

Swietokrzyskie province boasts not one, but two fascinating miniature parks that offer visitors the opportunity to take an extraordinary journey through the most important monuments of Poland and the world in just a few hours. The Miniature Park in Bałtów and the Sabat Krajno PARK of Entertainment and Miniatures are places where history and architecture meet precision craftsmanship and educational entertainment.

The Miniature Park in Bałtów, part of the Bałtów Tourist Complex, presents a collection of miniature replicas of the most important monuments from various corners of the world. Walking through the park's alleys, one can admire perfectly made models of such architectural wonders as the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty. Each miniature was made at a scale of 1:25, which allows you to see even the smallest details of these impressive buildings. Particularly interesting is the section devoted to Polish monuments, where you can see Wawel Castle, the Royal Castle in Warsaw and St. Mary's Basilica of Krakow, among others. The park offers not only a visual feast, but also an educational journey, as each miniature is accompanied by an information board with interesting historical facts.

On the other hand, Sabat Krajno PARK of Entertainment and Miniatures, located at the foot of Lysa Gora, is a place of unique character, combining a miniature park with numerous entertainment attractions. The part devoted to miniatures is called 'Świętokrzysko w Miniaturze' and presents the most important monuments of the Świętokrzyskie region and Poland. Among the exhibits are the Palace of Culture and Science, Krzyżtopór Castle and the Holy Cross Basilica. The uniqueness of this place lies in the fact that many of the miniatures have moving parts that can be activated with special buttons, making the tour an interactive experience.

An interesting fact related to Sabbat Krajno is the legend of the witches of Bald Mountain, who, according to legends, met for Sabbaths precisely in the vicinity of today's park. A reference to this legend can be found in the park's name and in some of the attractions, which adds to the place's mysterious atmosphere.

In addition to miniatures, Sabbat Krajno offers a number of other attractions that make it a comprehensive amusement park. There is a Lunapark with merry-go-rounds, roller coasters and other equipment, an Avenue of Miniature Fairy Tale Characters, where you can meet your favorite cartoon characters, and a Land of Fun - a huge playground with bouncy castles, trampolines and obstacle courses. For lovers of adrenaline, there is a rope slide - the so-called Tyrolean, with a length of more than 500 meters, which provides unforgettable emotions and beautiful views of the Swietokrzyskie Mountains.

Comparing the two miniature parks, it's worth noting that the Miniature Park in Bałtów focuses more on world monuments, while Sabat Krajno emphasizes Polish and regional cultural heritage. Sabat Krajno offers more additional entertainment attractions, making it a more versatile destination for families with children of all ages. On the other hand, the Miniature Park in Baltow, as part of a larger complex, can be visited in conjunction with other Baltow attractions, making it possible to plan a longer stay in the area, even for several days.

Price-wise, both parks are in the middle category, offering family tickets and discounts for groups. It is worth noting, however, that in the case of Sabat Krajno you can purchase tickets for individual attractions separately, allowing you to adjust your spending to your own preferences and budget.

Modern entertainment in Kielce and surroundings

The capital of the Świętokrzyskie region and its surroundings are not lagging behind when it comes to modern forms of entertainment. The FlySky amusement park in Kielce and the Dakar Town on the Cedzyna Reservoir are places that offer a completely different type of attraction than traditional theme parks, putting the emphasis on physical activity, sports and adrenaline.

FlySky Amusement Park, located on Ksiazza Piotra Ściegiennego street in Kielce, is a real paradise for trampoline jumping enthusiasts. This modern trampoline park offers a space for both children and adults to play safely. On an area of more than 1,500 sq. m, a variety of activity zones have been arranged: a jumping zone with dozens of connected trampolines, a sponge pool, acrobatic paths, climbing walls, and even a basketball court with trampolines instead of a floor, which allows for spectacular dunking.

FlySky stands out from other such facilities in Poland for its comprehensiveness and attention to safety. Each session begins with instruction by experienced trainers, and the safety of jumpers is supervised by qualified entertainers. The park also organizes fitness classes on trampolines, which is a great alternative to traditional forms of exercise. A special zone has been prepared for the youngest, where they can play safely under the supervision of their parents.

An interesting fact about FlySky is that the park was designed in cooperation with physiotherapists, thanks to which playing on trampolines not only provides entertainment, but also supports the proper motor development of children and teenagers. Regular jumping on trampolines improves motor coordination, strengthens muscles and benefits the cardiovascular system.

In turn, Dakar Town - Cedzyna Lagoon is a unique attraction located on a picturesque lagoon, just a few kilometers from the center of Kielce. The place owes its name to the inspiration of the famous Dakar Rally and offers attractions mainly related to motorization and water sports. The centerpiece of Dakar Town is the go-kart track, where both children and adults can feel like real rally drivers. The track has been designed with safety in mind, but at the same time provides the right dose of adrenaline and the opportunity to test your skills behind the wheel.

In addition to karts, Dakar Town also offers other automotive attractions, such as quads and buggies, which can be driven on specially prepared tracks. For water sports enthusiasts, there is an equipment rental shop: pedal boats, kayaks and SUP boards. During the summer season, motorsports competitions and shows are also organized here, attracting enthusiasts from all over Poland.

The uniqueness of Dakar Town lies in its location - on the one hand, it offers exciting motorsports attractions, and on the other, it allows you to enjoy the beauty of nature on the Cedzyna Reservoir. After an intense ride on the track, you can relax on the beach, unwind in one of the waterfront bars or take advantage of the surrounding bike paths.

Comparing the two places, FlySky is ideal for families with children of all ages and groups of youngsters looking for active entertainment regardless of the weather, as the park is located in a closed facility. Price-wise, it ranks in the middle category, offering timed tickets and passes. Dakar City, on the other hand, is for car and water sports enthusiasts, best suited for the summer season. Prices for the various attractions vary, allowing you to adjust your spending to suit your preferences.

It is worth noting that both FlySky and Dakar Town are excellent additions to the tourist offer of the Świętokrzyskie region, showing that in addition to traditional historical and natural attractions, the province also has modern forms of entertainment to attract younger tourists and residents of the region looking for active recreation.
