Description

Chosen Hill is a magical hill with a fascinating history dating back to the Iron Age. At the top is the 12th-century St. Bartholomew's Church, offering breathtaking panoramic views.

It's a place full of mystery and legends, including tales of Mussel Well, an ancient well associated with fairy processions. In summer, the hill delights with a variety of orchids, especially in the area known as The Tumps.

Numerous walking trails lead through scenic woodland, moorland and historic sites such as Soldiers Walk, a post from the siege of Gloucester in 1643.

avatarChristopher Forrest12 months agoFantastic views of the cotswold hills. Parking can be found by the church. Some steep stairs and trails so not great for people with mobility issues

avatarDAVE BOWLEY6 years agoGreat for either a gentle stroll after a hearty Sunday breakfast or a more energetic exercise. Very good scenery, plenty of wildlife to see including deer. There's flat fields, gentle slopes, woodland and architecture to look at. There's also a couple of lakes and marshland.
