Description
The Green Vault is one of the oldest and most renowned museums in Europe, located in the historic Dresden Castle.
It houses the largest collection of treasures in Europe - more than 3,000 pieces of jewelry, gold, amber and ivory from the 16th to 18th centuries.
The museum is divided into two parts: The Historic Green Vault, with its original baroque halls dating back to 1733, and the New Green Vault, where masterpieces of treasure art can be admired, including the famous 41-carat Green Diamond.
