The Ignacy Moscicki Dam in Wapienica is a unique hydrotechnical structure from 1929-1932, being one of the most modern dam projects in Europe at the time.
This concrete and earth structure, 309 meters long and 23 meters high, creates the picturesque Great Meadow Lake reservoir with an area of 24 hectares.
The reservoir is famous for its crystal clear Class I water, and the surrounding area offers stunning views of the Silesian Beskid. From the nearby Krzywa Chata cafe, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains and the water surface while savoring the tranquility of this unique place.
