Description
Blarney Castle is a medieval fortress dating back to 1446 and is one of Ireland's most important landmarks.
It is famous for the legendary Blarney Stone, which, according to tradition, endows anyone who kisses it with the gift of eloquence and persuasion.
In addition to its impressive architecture with walls 18 feet thick at the base, the castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens, including the mysterious Poison Garden and the Fairy Gardens, which will delight adults and children alike.
Walking through the castle grounds, you can discover the enchanting Rock Close paths with witch and druid names and a scenic walk around the lake.
