Zamek Trsat

The Trsat Castle is one of the oldest fortifications on the Croatian coast, dating back to the 13th century. Situated on a hill 138 meters above sea level, it offers breathtaking views of Rijeka and the surrounding area.

Originally a Roman fortress, later a medieval stronghold, today it combines history with modernity. There is an art gallery on the castle grounds, and during the summer season there are outdoor concerts, theater performances, fashion shows and literary evenings.

Admission to the castle grounds is free, making it an ideal place for a romantic stroll or family outing.
