Description
The Liechtenstein Castle is a fascinating monument with a rich history dating back to the 12th century. Located on the edge of the Vienna Woods, it combines elements of Romanesque and Neo-Gothic architecture.
After being destroyed by the Ottomans in the 16th and 17th centuries, it was beautifully restored in the 19th century. Today it offers an unforgettable experience for history and art lovers.
The castle features original furniture, weapons, ornate ceilings, bas-reliefs and a chapel. Its walls offer a breathtaking view of Vienna, which has inspired many artists over the centuries.
