Description

The Teutonic Castle in Nidzica (Warmian-Masurian) is an impressive Gothic fortress from the 14th century, an excellent example of the defensive architecture of the Teutonic Order.

Inside you can admire original Gothic frescoes from the 14th and 15th centuries, including a wall painting depicting St. Veronica in adoration of angels.

The castle offers an unforgettable experience for history buffs - visiting the Nidzica region museum, attending knights' feasts, and staying overnight at the castle hotel and enjoying traditional cuisine at the 'Ordo' restaurant.
