Description
Knappogue Castle is a medieval fortress dating back to 1467 and is an architectural gem in County Clare.
Built by Seán Mac Conmar, the castle has witnessed many historic events, including the Irish Rebellion of 1641. The meticulously restored interiors with original furnishings, tapestries and artifacts take you back to a time of former glory.
