Zamek Hradec nad Moravicí

Hradec nad Moravicí Castle is a unique architectural complex with a rich history dating back to the early Middle Ages. It consists of the Empire-style White Castle, the neo-Gothic Red Castle, and the distinctive Clock Tower offering panoramic views of the area.

This place impresses not only with its architecture, but also with its musical heritage - it has hosted such composers as Beethoven, Liszt, Mozart and Paganini. The piano on which Beethoven composed the famous 'Appassionata' is one of the most valuable exhibits.

The park surrounding the castle is the largest of its kind in the Moravian-Silesian region, offering picturesque spaces in the style of an English landscape garden.
