Rynek Główny

The Main Market Square is one of the largest medieval squares in Europe, forming the heart of Krakow's Old Town. This historic square impresses with its unique architecture, with the dominant St. Mary's Basilica famous for its wooden altar by Wit Stwosz and bugle call played every hour.

Surrounding the square are the historic Cloth Hall, the world's first department store, where you can buy amber, lace and souvenirs. The City Hall Tower offers a panoramic view of the entire area.
