Description

Estádio do Pacaembu is an iconic Art Deco stadium, opened in 1940 as the largest in Latin America. It hosted the 1950 FIFA World Cup and the first match ever broadcast on Brazilian television.

Beneath the stands is the Museu do Futebol, a museum chronicling the history of Brazilian soccer. Recently renovated, the stadium offers an Olympic-size swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a running track, combining its sporting heritage with modern recreational facilities.
