Description
Lysica is the highest peak of the Swietokrzyskie Mountains, rising to a height of 616 meters above sea level. The place impresses with unique rock formations called 'goloborza' and picturesque hiking trails.
Lysica is shrouded in mysterious legends of witches' sabbaths, which adds to its mystical character. On the slopes of the mountain are the remains of a pagan temple from the 9th century and a Benedictine monastery from the 11th century.
It is an ideal place for lovers of active recreation, history and local folklore. The surrounding forests of Swietokrzyski National Park offer tranquility and contact with unspoiled nature.
