Wookey Hole Caves

Wookey Hole Caves is a fascinating limestone cave system with a history dating back 45,000 years.

Discover spectacular rock formations, underground rivers, and the legendary Witch of Wookey, a stalagmite that is said to have been turned to stone by a Glastonbury monk.

In addition to the caves themselves, plenty of attractions await: antique slot machines, museums, mini golf and shows by a famous circus school. For the adventurous, the Wild Wookey challenge is available, including climbing and rappelling deep into the caves.
