Description
Woking Palace is a fascinating historical monument dating back to Tudor times, surrounded by an impressive moat covering an area of more than three hectares.
The central stone building with a 14th-century portal and brick vaulted ceiling was once the residence of Lady Margaret Beaufort. The palace was a favorite of King Henry VIII, who made significant improvements here.
In addition to architectural remains, you can admire the former fish ponds and garden areas. The site offers a unique combination of history, archaeology and nature, ideal for lovers of exploring royal mysteries of the past.
