Description

Windmühle Straupitz is Europe's last surviving triple windmill of the Dutch type. This unique technical monument houses three fully functional mills under one roof: a flour mill, an oil mill and a sawmill.

This is a real gem for lovers of industrial history and traditional craftsmanship. During the tour, you can learn about the production process of linseed oil, a specialty of the Spreewald region, and admire the original, restored mill mechanisms.

For families with children, this is an excellent opportunity for an educational adventure, showing how staple products were produced in the past.
