The Royal Dick Pub

The Royal Dick Pub is a unique venue in the heart of Edinburgh, housed in the former veterinary school of Edinburgh University. This atmospheric pub impresses with décor reminiscent of its veterinary past - old surgical instruments hang on the walls and the bar is decorated with vintage projector slides.

The pub's specialties include craft beers from Barney's brewery, which is located just behind the bar, and local gin from Pickering's distillery, delivered by pipeline from 23 meters away! The menu features traditional pub food, burgers and salads.
