Deacon's House Cafe is a charming cafe located in a historic building on Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile. The establishment is housed in the former workshop of William Brodie, a notorious carpenter and burglar known as Deacon Brodie, which adds to the mysterious character of the place.

The café impresses with a vaulted ceiling dating back to 1420, which was part of the former brewery. The menu features homemade pastries (including gluten-free and vegan), soups, scones, and organic, triple-certified coffee and a selection of leaf teas.
