Weavers Bastion

Weavers Bastion is a fascinating 15th century fortification converted into a museum that takes you back in time to medieval Brasov.

The preserved defensive walls, watchtowers and four levels of exhibits tell the story of the guild of weavers who once protected their precious goods here.

The bastion offers a breathtaking panorama of the city and surrounding mountains. The exhibit includes traditional weaving techniques, medieval documents, Turkish weapons, guild flags and a 16th century street lamp.
