the Punticeddha Beach

Punticeddha Beach is a picturesque, intimate beach located near Otranto, Italy.

Its unique feature is access to the sea via a staircase carved into the rock, leading directly to the crystal clear water. The small but charming beach is surrounded by steep cliffs with hanging rocks and numerous caves to explore.

Despite its small size (less than 10 meters wide), it offers a sandy bottom and shallow water near the rocks. You can relax on the beach, the rocks or in the meadow overlooking the characteristic faraglioni (rocky outcrops).
