Description

Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte is an unusual combination of art museum and royal park in Naples.

Originally built as a royal hunting lodge in 1738, today it impresses with its impressive collection of works by Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian and Caravaggio.

In addition to the magnificent works of art, one can admire the royal apartments with 18th century antiques and a collection of porcelain. The park surrounding the palace offers beautiful views of the Bay of Naples - the perfect place for a relaxing stroll after interacting with the art.
