Description
Faunistic Park Le Cornelle is one of Italy's most important zoological parks, covering 126,000 m² in the picturesque Valbrembo area near Bergamo.
Since 1981, it has protected around 120 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles in natural enclosures that mimic savannas, tropical forests, and islands. Here you can see white Bengal tigers, snow leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and Japanese cranes.
The biggest attraction is Selva Tropicale, Italy's largest aviary with an area of 7,000 m², where birds fly in semi-freedom. The park actively participates in endangered species conservation programs.
