Vondelpark

Vondelpark is an oasis of calm in the heart of Amsterdam, named after 17th-century playwright Joost van den Vondel.

Designed in an English landscape style, the park offers picturesque ponds, paths and numerous attractions. You can admire Vondel's bronze statue, Picasso's abstract sculpture 'The Fish' or outdoor theater performances.

For the active, there are bike paths and weekly roller-skating rides. Families will appreciate the six playgrounds and nature lovers will appreciate the variety of birds, including wild parrots.
