Viking Coastal Trail

Viking Coastal Trail is a scenic 40-mile trail around the Isle of Thanet in the county of Kent. The trail runs along the coast, offering breathtaking views from chalk cliffs and access to sandy beaches with chalk reefs.

The trail connects the coastal towns of Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, rich in artistic and literary heritage. History buffs will appreciate passing through the Viking invasion sites of Pegwell Bay and the Roman fort of Reculver Towers.

The route is family-friendly, with numerous picnic spots, pubs and cafes along the way.
